Participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have completed Year 10 in the Australian school system or equivalent;
  • Have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to ASCF Level 2;
  • Provision of the participant’s Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Provision of Australian legal photo identification for assessment purposes

High-Risk Work Licences

  • High risk work licences have a 5-year life span. After this period, the licence will need to be renewed. This can be done via the WHS Queensland website.
  • If your high risk work licence has expired, you’re not classified as a licenced operator until it’s renewed.
  • You have up to 12 months to renew your high risk licence. If it’s past the 12-month period, you’ll be required to re-sit the written and practical exam.
  • A VOC cannot be done on an expired licence.

How to apply for a High-Risk Work Licence

  • You have 60 days from successfully completing your practical assessment to apply with WorkSafe QLD for your high risk work licence.
  • There is an application fee to lodge your AS1 Form.

  • Note: Interstate residents can apply for a Queensland HRW licence as long as they were trained and assessed in Queensland by a Queensland based registered training organisation (RTO) and assessor.

Upon successful completion of this unit, students will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in – CPCCLSF2001 Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding basic level
