Course Objective:

This unit provides the skills and knowledge required to conduct civil construction water vehicle operations safely and effectively within the civil construction industry.

Upon course completion students must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Plan and prepare for water vehicle operations
  • Operate water vehicle in line with established requirements
  • Load, haul and distribute water to complete work activity
  • Conduct housekeeping activities

ACTA Group Course Admission Requirements:

Participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have completed Year 10 in the Australian school system or equivalent;
  • Have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to ASCF Level 2;
  • Provision of the participant’s Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Provision of Australian legal photo identification for assessment purposes
  • Hold a valid WHS White Card or equivalent
  • Be employed in a civil construction role allowing relevant construction work to be completed, and study via a workplace supported pathway.

Upon successful completion of this unit, students will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in RIIMPO326E Conduct water vehicle operations.

RIIMPO326E Conduct water vehicle operations
