This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to assess and withdraw from hazardous situations in the resources and infrastructure industries and locate and evacuate to a place of safety.

It applies to those working in operational roles. They generally work under some degree of supervision.

ACTA Group Course Admission Requirements:

Participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have completed Year 10 in the Australian school system or equivalent;
  • Have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to ASCF Level 2;
  • Provision of the participant’s Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Provision of Australian legal photo identification for assessment purposes
