ACTA Group Course Admission Requirements:

Participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have completed Year 10 in the Australian school system or equivalent;
  • Have language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to ASCF Level 2;
  • Provision of the participant’s Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Provision of Australian legal photo identification for assessment purposes and;.
  • Hold a valid open or provisional driver licence- Retain copy sighted
  • Be employed in a role allowing relevant work relating to driving operations to be completed, and study via a workplace supported pathway

Upon successful completion of this Nationally Recognised Qualification, students will receive a Testamur in TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations.

To be awarded the TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations, the following packaging rules apply:

Total number of units = 15

  • 5 core units plus
  • 1 driver awareness elective unit
  • 9 general elective units
  • Up to 3 of the elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The electives must contribute to the vocational outcome of the qualification. Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.

ACTA Group’s Participant Advice and Selection Policy outlines in detail a process to be followed for granting Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer. This is supported with RPL resources available for all course units.

Participants must apply for RPL or credit transfer prior to or immediately after formal enrolment but prior to the commencement of the delivery of the units. Any RPL’s granted must be accepted and signed off by the participant.

After achieving this qualification, participants may undertake a Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in transport and logistic related fields. This may include generic, technical or supervisory course streams.
